What you are doing defies all logic; it is inconceivable and dishonourable to you and your countries to accept a totalitarian regime—a grim dictatorship such as Turkey’s, led by a deranged medieval ruler—and to recognise it as a democracy. By doing so, you debase this highest form of government on earth, which the Greeks offered you selflessly 2,500 years ago, so that you could function as organised states and peoples while observing its principles and values.
This, of course, is precisely what you fail to do as leaders, sacrificing it on the altar of your interests and your irrationality, thereby degrading it!
Gentlemen, after their continual provocations and threats against your countries—and especially after their latest, exceptionally revealing statement of 26 August 2026, which exposes their extreme maximalist designs against you, declaring, among other things, “At Manzikert in 1071 we took Anatolia; in 2071 we will dominate the world”—is it possible that you still do not react? At last, have you no shame? What is it that you fail to understand?
Shame and disgrace! You are no longer leaders; you are Erdogan’s mouthpieces and subordinates, undermining the future of Europe and of your own peoples!
When will you understand that you have a sacred obligation towards your peoples to respond to their outlandish and anachronistic neo-Ottoman and maximalist plans—plans that will soon strike your own countries as well, beginning with Greece, an allied country and the guardian of your borders? SHAME!
Gentlemen, do not forget that history is written for everyone. If you do not decide immediately to change course and stand firmly against their revisionist plans, your countries will soon be called upon to pay the price for your own mistakes.
At last, decide to end every form of cooperation with them, cancelling all arms programmes between you; for it is certain that these will return like a boomerang against your peoples, killing your own children as well. Close the door of the European Union to them once and for all before it is too late!
A people such as this has no place in Europe, nor even in the West, and we all know it. If you fail to perform the duty you owe as leaders to your peoples, you will soon be called to account, paying the price you deserve and going down in history as solely responsible for an Armageddon that you yourselves knowingly directed towards your own countries, having betrayed your peoples and your homelands!
